Poker is a card game in which players wager money (or chips) on the outcome of a hand according to the rules of the particular game. The cards in a poker hand are either shared or private, and the object of the game is to win the pot \u2013 the sum of all bets made during a single deal. A player wins the pot by having a high-ranking poker hand or by betting so much that no other players call his bet.<\/p>\n
There are many different forms of poker and the number of cards in play varies from 2 to 14. But all the variants have at least one thing in common: betting rounds.<\/p>\n
During the first betting round, each player must place in the pot the amount of money equivalent to the blind bet plus any other bets made by players before him. This is called the ante.<\/p>\n

For example, if a player bets all the time it is likely that they are playing weak hands and can be easily bluffed.
