Another option is to bluff. You can bluff by betting you have the best hand and hoping that others will call. However, this is not necessarily the best way to play.<\/p>\n
A poker player has to bet enough to entice other players to match the bet. This is often done with a bluff or a protection bet.<\/p>\n
An example of a bluff is calling a raise and putting more money into the pot than you actually have. On the other hand, a protection bet involves making a raised bet to fold out your opponent’s equity.<\/p>\n
There are other forms of a bluff, though. For instance, sandbagging is when a player makes a bet on the river.<\/p>\n
