During a hand of poker, each player is dealt four cards and bets in turn until the betting interval is over. The player to the left of the dealer has the first turn to place his bet. After the players have placed their bets, the cards are reshuffled and the player to the right of the dealer has the opportunity to cut.<\/p>\n
The player with the highest pair, three of a kind or straight wins the hand. A pair consists of two matching cards of the same rank (e.g. two six\u2019s). A full house consists of three matching cards of one rank and two matching cards of another. A flush consists of five consecutive cards of the same suit.
